Shoot Like Drew (Almost)

My brother in-law has a gift for taking great pictures by making simple things stand out... I thought I should try out that approach every once in a while. Here is a shot from the kitchen counter of the pineapple from Christmas breakfast, along with some canned goodies from my sister.

Hawk at Cook's Forrest

This is a hawk that I saw in Cook's Forrest, while I was hiking along the Firetower trail.

Siding

This is a clever, if not decorative, approach to siding on a house sits along an alley in my neighborhood.

Frozen Lake

Back from a three day jaunt to Lake Wallenpaupack. Here is a view of the semi-frozen lake (needless to say, I did not go swimming.... I forgot my swimsuit). The ice sheets on the lake would meander back and forth during the day, depending on the wind, with the occasional crunch on impact on the far shore.

It is hard to believe that it is spring.
